The University of Lahore is a comprehensive research university that stands today as one of the finest institutions of higher learning in Pakistan. The University is home to more than two hundred faculty who provide high quality teaching and counseling. The University seeks to provide students with a learning environment conducive to academic achievement and enrichment.
The University is located in a scenic area near Thokar Niaz Baig at Raiwind Road, Lahore. This dynamic setting is situated near the industrial area where students are afforded the opportunity to obtain employment and internships upon graduation. The curriculum in every discipline of academic study is modernized and instruction is provided by qualified and competent faculty. The University strives to maintain a congenial classroom and laboratory environment.
Graduates are able to find employment after graduation without difficulty. We have many highly accomplished graduates at the highest positions of responsibility in all sectors of the economy including management, banking and finance, electronics and communications, electrical engineering, information technology, and pharmaceuticals.
In order to enhance the employment prospects of our graduates, the University actively seeks the approval of all competent regulatory authorities without exception. All programs of study, including medicine and dentistry, pharmaceuticals, and electrical engineering, have been accredited and recognized by their respective regulatory councils.
